These Terms of Use govern your use of Ascend.

1. Acceptance

By using Ascend, you agree to these Terms.

2. Service Scope

Ascend is a cosmetic self-care organization app. It helps you organize skincare routines, maintain a product shelf, keep private journal notes, add optional reference photos for your own records, and set gentle reminders for consistency.

3. Not a Medical Device — No Medical Advice

Ascend is NOT a medical device. It does NOT diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition, and does NOT provide medical advice, dermatological assessment, health measurement, or emergency care. Any notes, routines, photos, or reminders you add are for personal organization and self-care tracking only. Always consult a qualified healthcare or dermatology professional for any medical or skin-health concern.

4. Accounts and Eligibility

You are responsible for account information accuracy and for maintaining account security. Ascend is intended for users 13 years or older (or the minimum age required by local law).

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid features may be offered via auto-renewing subscriptions billed through Apple. Subscription management, cancellation, and refunds are subject to Apple App Store terms.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, or violate applicable laws. You agree not to rely on Ascend or any in-app content for medical decisions.

7. Intellectual Property

All app content, branding, and software rights are owned by Ascend or licensors.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ascend is provided "as is" without guarantees of specific cosmetic or self-care outcomes. Ascend is not liable for any decisions you make based on routines, notes, photos, reminders, or any other content in the app.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
